SpecialtyCare is a national leader in Intraoperative Neuromonitoring. We are recruiting talented Surgical Neurophysiologists to join an elite team of neuromonitoring specialists dedicated to enhancing clinical outcomes and improving patient safety during surgery.
Job Summary
The Surgical Neurophysiologist is an integral part of the su! rgical team, and works closely with the Anesthesiologist, the ! Surgeons, and other members of the OR team. The Surgical Neurophysiologist performs testing and monitoring of the nervous system during surgery to assist the Surgeons in avoiding or reducing complications by detecting incipient injury in time to prevent or ameliorate it. They also provide information to the surgeon for use in intraoperative decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelorâs, Masterâs, or Doctorate degree in the life sciences, neuroscience, biology, bio-engineering, audiology is preferred
DABNM, CNIM certification and/or experience in Surgical Neurophysiology is a MUST
Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and have a strong desire to learn.
Ability to keep up with a fast paced and independent learning environment.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
Must be able to work flexible hours as scheduled, including weekends and holidays, and to be on-call as scheduled.
