Description: North Vista Hospital is presently looking of Bariatric Clinical Reviewer - Bariatrics - Part Time right now, this vacancy will be placed in Nevada. More details about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. Post by Jobing - Identifies 100f bariatric surgery patients for inclusion in the data registry. Collects perioperative, intraoperative, 30â€"day postoperative, and longâ€"term ( six month and annual thereafter) followâ€"up data components for the program through the effective utilization of the hospital medical record systems and through a coordinated effort with individual surgeon offices and staff. Attends weekly Morbidity & Mortality conferences to ensure reliable data collection of postope! rative occurrences. Identifies streamlining and process improv! ement opportunities in the data collection process.
Demonstrates appropriate utilization of resources necessary to obtain valid, reliable data for entry into the program. Utilizes software applications for data collection and analysis. Responsible for the accurate and timely data entry into the program s database. Works effectively with hospital and individual surgeon office staff.
Establishes effective working relationships with member of the hospital community, especially staff in the surgery, medicine, nursing, medical records, and information systems departments and individual bariatric surgeons offices whose support is necessary for the managements and success of the program. Participates in data compilation for audits and initial and reaccreditation site visits. High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
RHIA, RHIT, LPN/LVN, RN, or BSN preferred. Minimum one year experience in a hospital surgery department or surgery c! linic or with clinical research or medical records. Clinical chart review and abstraction experience required.
