The Human Resources Associate Generalist provides administrative support for Highstreet’s growing global employee base. This support includes, but is not limited to general administrative duties, culture-related initiatives, and is responsible for people administration via multiple systems and the coordination of administration around the full employee life cycle.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists with employee onboarding/offboarding and orientations, including issuing offer letters, background checks, processing of paperwork, benefits enrollment and I-9 verification
- Assists employees and managers with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
- Assists with the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, terminations and monthly reconciliation
- Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests (employee information requests, verifications of employment, etc.)
- Assists with annual performance management and professional development processes
- Maintains personnel files, including preparing and filing documents for employees
- Assists with planning and execution of special events
- Assists with employee anniversary recognition program
- Assists with various communications and reports (headcount, turnover, etc.)
- Track completion of mandatory trainings or certifications
- Provide general support related to HR including file management and data entry
- Assists with payroll processing and incentive calculations
- Perform other administrative duties and human resources support projects as assigned

Experience (required):
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and team-oriented
- Able to prioritize assignments, organize, and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and drive deliverables to completion
- Professional demeanor and possess the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Experience (preferred, but not required):- Experience with time & expense software is a plus
- Experience with Payroll and HRIS software is a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification is a plus
