Responsible for acquiring goods and services from vendors at the best possible price, quality, and delivery time. The position requires the ability to source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships while maintaining high customer service and meeting organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Source and select at least 3 different vendors that meet organizational requirements for quality, price, and delivery time.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors that result in favourable terms and conditions for the organization.
- Place purchase orders and manage order fulfilment to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Track vendor performance and address issues that arise, including quality, delivery, and pricing discrepancies.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and develop purchasing plans that align with organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to purchasing.
- Check and status of all incoming received goods.
- Other ad-hoc duties if required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
