We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Personal Assistant.
Business: Wealth Personal Banking IT
Principal responsibilities
  • Organising schedules, maintaining diaries, arranging travel and accommodation
  • Co-ordinating activities, events, resources, meetings, services and managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting administration, composing presentations, drafting reports and assisting with key documents such as business plans
  • Deputising at meetings and making decisions on matters relating to the business area
  • Managing external relationships and service providers
  • Gatekeeper or primary point of contact roles for an area
  • Adhere to HSBC policies and maintain confidentiality on sensitive activities in the remit area

Requirements
  • Recent and relevant EA experience in financial services
  • Capable of handling all matters of a confidential nature with discretion
  • Ability to confidently represent the Invest UK team at meetings with internal stakeholders and work autonomously, whilst recognising when to seek guidance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills in order to be able to deal with and prioritise multiple requests and organise busy workload effectively
  • Experience of event management
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Experience of using and managing SharePoint and Confluence
  • Knowledge and experience of procurement and recruitment processes
  • Experience supporting transformational change programmes in large organisations
  • Experience of working across time zones and geographical locations
  • Must have an understanding of communication activity
  • Ability to work with colleagues at all levels, including explaining complex situations to senior executives and their direct reports.
  • Must have experience in drafting correspondence at a senior level
