Administration Assistant (Events & Catering)

Small catering company/restaurant is in need of a mature administrative assistant, who will be the 2nd brain to the owners. Must be able to start ASAP.

It is not important if you have previous restaurant experience. We are willing to train the right candidate. However, you MUST meet the requirements below.

Professional Skills

  • Administrative Assistant: 3+ years (consistently, at the same office)
  • Microsoft Excel (Intermediate): You must know add/subtraction/multiply/divide formulas and have a command of formatting;
  • Customer Service: You understand the customer is always right. You must have a genuinely warm presence;
  • Critical Thinker
  • Great phone voice;
  • Typing: 55 wpm; and,
  • Capable of being managed by more than 1 manager (Note: The restaurant industry is high pressure and intense. You must be able to finesse working with varying personalities.)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Organizing the owners' office;
  • Becoming the official contact person for all catering requests;
  • Drafting and finalizing all catering invoices;
  • Ensuring that all payments are received from catering;
  • Managing catering staff (on and off site);
  • Serving customers at catering events; and,
  • Running errands as needed.

Paid Training (6+ months): $25 per hour (Paid Weekly via ACH)
Rate Increases: Negotiable after 3-months - up to $30/hour
Additional Rate Increases: Negotiable after 1 year $35+/per hour - for the ideal candidate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
