University of Nevada School of Medicine Integrated Clinical Services Inc. is currently accepting resumes for Clinical Audiologist (Per! Diem) for the Surgery Department - ENT Division in Las Vegas.

The primary responsibility of this position will be to perform audiological test procedures and make proper recommendations/referrals for medical intervention/follow-up, as needed. This individual will assist physicians in the Division of Otolaryngology, as well as University of Nevada School of Medicine and community physicians, by conducting tests that will provide essential audiometric results that help determine course of treatment and verify surgical outcomes. Major responsibilities of this role will be to provide clinical services such as basic audiometric evaluations of adults and children, impedance measurements, Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), Electrocochlegraphy (ECoG),Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE), Videonystagmography (VNG), hearing aid evaluations, Cochlear Implant Mapping, and Baha evaluations.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in Audiology (Doctorate in Audiology preferred).! Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and possess or ! be eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A), Nevada Audiology License, Nevada Hearing Aid Specialist License. Minimum of two (2) years experience required. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Candidate must possess skills that include strong attention to detail and patient follow-up, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent customer and patient service skills in person and over the telephone, and work as part of the team. Must have a working knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures. Responsibilities also include answering phones, rooming patients, chart detail, and patient education. Must be familiar with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
