This is a fabulous permanent opportunity for the surgeon who wou! ld like the opportunity to stay busy and keep their skills sharp while enjoying the wonderful location of this Nevada community and all of the outdoor recreation it has to offer.
Ideal candidate would be one who is self directed with a wide range of procedures that they can offer.
Candidate could also do, though not required, some vascular, thoracic, colo-rectal, plastics, etc if wanted.
Scopes while welcome is not required.
Laparoscopic skills and training highly desirable although not required.
Call is 1:3
There are 3 other surgeons in town.
Contract calls for around $352K a year income guarantee as well as overhead expense allowance.
Prefer private practice but open to hospital employed salaried model with full benefits.
Signing bonus, relocation, student loan (if appropriate), marketing, practice management (depending on contract type) are all offered on a case-by-case basis.
Hospital has 75 Beds, 5 OR's, 64 slice CT Scan, ! 1.5 Tesla MRI, Cardiac Cath Lab
