This teaching hospital includes an acute care facility with adjoining outpatient services for sur! gery, laboratory and radiology as well as two medical office buildings. The hospital is situated on a 40-acre campus and is currently undergoing a $100 million expansion that will take the hospital from 281-beds to 480-beds. Summerlin is a planned community built by the Howard Hughes Corporation in southern Nevada. The northern portion of Summerlin is part of the city of Las Vegas, while the southern portion is an unincorporated area.
