Under general direction of the Marketing Director, this position develops and implements innovative and effective marketing programs utilizing direct mail,! advertisements, and collateral to build relationships with key target audiences as defined by strategic objectives. The position is responsible for account management of service lines; planning and implementing integrated marketing campaigns and strategies; and developing and maintaining corporate image and brand management as designated by senior leadership and in accordance with the Renown Health purpose and annual marketing and strategic plans. Directs and guides the project work of other staff members. May have budget management.

Nature and Scope:
This position develops and implements integrated marketing campaigns to increase revenue, volume and overall market share for designated services, e.g. Cancer, Surgery, Heart, Neurosciences, Orthopedics, Medical Groups, three hospitals, Hometown Health and specific target audiences.

1. Develops marketing strategies for assigned areas, in conjunction with internal business partners.
2. Determin! es appropriate marketing tactics for approved budget.
3. A! nalyzes and develops effective media campaign vehicles.
4. Ability to perform financial analysis and develop metrics to track ROI of campaigns, programs and events.
5. Stays informed of healthcare industry marketing trends and market research in order to introduce new ideas to Marketing Director and Leadership.

This individual, as account representative for designated priority services lines and priority services, leads project teams and committees to implement tactics, adheres to budgets and meets deadlines. This position provides strategic, creative and technical expertise to assigned Renown Health entities for marketing programs from inception to completion.

1. Guides overall integration of advertising campaigns ensuring that branding guidelines are adhered to.
2. Oversees creative direction and implementation of collateral material, e.g., brochures, booklets, direct mail, flyers, newsletters and annual reports
3. Provides direction for ! and assists with promotions and events for community outreach.
4. Provides input and includes public relations, publicity, and employee and physician communication efforts as part of overall marketing communication efforts. This position develops and implements direct mail marketing campaigns for key customer groups and provides content and support for publications and web site.
5. Identifies interview sources and writes persuasive copy
6. Coordinates and develops crossover internet and intranet communications
7. Delivers presentations on projects and provides updates on project objectives and deliverables.

This position, working with the Director, has the authority to establish marketing guidelines, solve operational problems to ensure that the goals and objectives specified for Renown Health services are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, time limitations and financial considerations.

This position helps determine, man! ages, and tracks budgets for assigned service lines, direct mail, speci! al events, community outreach, and specialty items, as well as d irects and guides the project work of other staff members.

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred

Education:
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, business or similar field.

Experience:
Minimum five years experience in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or Communications required; three years of healthcare experience preferred. Strong, demonstrable writing ! skills and experience required. Ability to coordinate multiple priorities, deadlines and projects required.

Computer / Typing:
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
