Board Certified Internist
Could possibly consider a Board Cer! tified Family Practioner if they had very strong Hospitalist experience
Must have strong experience with procedures including central lines, ICU patient management, ventilator management, and intubations, pulmonary, cardio, etc.
7 days on then 7 days off
During the week the candidate is on they will be on call 24 hours. Would need to take phone calls but do not need to be on the hospital campus. If necessary, they can come in to see a patient.
Currently seeing 10-12 patients/day with not very much at all at night.
We have a 7 bed open ICU. Currently running a census of about two but varies. No intensivist.
Start time is immediate and the length of assignment is open ended until a permanent candidate is hired.
Need the locums to work with our hospitalist where our hospitalist is on for 2 weeks then off for a week etc. We need to locums to work that week she is off. So we are talking about one to two weeks a month depending upon how the calendar fa! lls
