We are seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services. Must have BSN and Masters Required. CNOR preferred. If Master's Degree has no! t been obtained, applicant must be actively enrolled in an acc! redited Master's Degree program with reporting of progress each semester to CNO.
Must have a minimum of three (3) years clinical surgical experience and a minimum of five years (5) years progressive surgical services management experience preferred.
Responsible for the management of OR, PACU, Outpatient Surgery and other assigned departments to ensure the facility meets the established standard of care.
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
Ideal Candidate Applicant must have previous Director level experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical skills necessary to organize and oversee assigned personnel and develop and administer policies, procedures, budgets and nursing practices. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to provide effective leadership to assigned pe! rsonnel and maintain effective contacts with patients, visitors, physicians and community. Ability to lead interdisciplinary team with staff, physicians and community representatives.
