Detailed specification about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. Our practice is currently searching for the right associate veterinarian for our busy 7 doctor practice. Our practice is located! in Sparks, Nevada (next to Reno), situated at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range about 45 minutes from Lake Tahoe. Obviously, we are close to all of the best summer and winter recreational activities.
We have been fortunate to be a consistently thriving practice for over 30 years. Our practice tries to excel in client communication, allowing time in the office call for a thorough exam and explanation of our patients’ condition. The person filling this position will need to share the same commitment to high quality medicine and client service that all the doctors and staff at our clinic maintain. We have a very shared practice and each doctor is frequently involved in other doctors cases to help add insight into any avenue that may help the pet. Hence, we are looking for an individual that is team oriented, out-going, and works well with others. We are hoping to find a veterinarian with a strong interest in surgery and advanced diagnostics.
Our! practice is 100% small animal. In May of 2005 we moved into a! brand new, state of the art hospital with the usual amenities a veterinarian would expect in a modern veterinary hospital. We see primarily dogs and cats, however, we also see pocket pets, ferrets, rabbits, and reptiles. If you have any special interests, we would certainly encourage you to develop them. Everyone understands the stress that is involved in the practicing of veterinary medicine and we strive to maintain a relaxed and comfortable work environment. You will not be required to take emergency calls. Our emergencies are referred to a local emergency clinic with whom we share an excellent working relationship. Cases requiring intense monitoring are often transferred to the emergency clinic for overnight care as well.
