Baker [Qatar]


 

  • To prepare and produce products by company specifications and instructions in the time frame
  • To treat and process raw materials and ingredients (flour, oil, sugar, yeast, water, etc.)
  • To prepare different dough and mixtures according to production recipes under baker supervision
  • To produce and apply decorations on bakery products under supervision
  • To fill and maintain presentation stock
  • To ensure that the food are served in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • To get delivery date and ensure that documents comply with requests.
  • To receive deliveries and verify that the delivered goods match weight and shapes mentioned in the catalogue
  • To assist and help in inventory-taking.
  • To provide services to meet a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • To manage spoilage, turnovers and inventory of stocks and goods
  • Clean, maintain and make simple repairs to machinery and equipment used in bakery.
  • To prepare of all fresh baked products each day and should to follow standard ingredients equation, maintain the humidity and the temperature of the oven to produce quality products.
  • To coordinate with Executive Chef and Operations Manager for menu planning and pairing of desserts with entrée and appetizer selections.
  • To introduce variety of new products, testing and evaluation of new pastry and dessert recipes.
  • To train the production (Kitchen) staff and to get best performance and productivity from each staff.
  • To focus and apply quality control and improve standards of our Food products so as to achieve the customer satisfaction without increasing cost.
  • To assist the Executive Chef to achieve the budgeted food costs and profitability by training the cooks for menu planning, control the wastage and spoilage of food products.
  • To assist the Executive Chef and Manager during the mobilization of new outlets and catering projects.
  • To ensure that all staff maintain high standards of personal grooming & hygiene and wear clean uniforms.
  • To ensure that all kitchen / production staff meet the Qatar Municipality Health (food handlers) regulations and client health requirement, if any.
  • To ensure that requirements related to Food Safety (ISO 22000:2018), Quality Management (9001:2015) and HSE (ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018) are implemented and maintained within the department.
  • All documents/records related to Food Safety & HSE (where applicable) shall be kept up to date.
  • Food safety/HSE Policy and objectives, as applicable to the department, to be followed and updated.
  • To carry-out all other duties & responsibilities assigned to by your Chef, HOD, related to Kitchen Operations in accordance with Company’s Policies & Procedures and any applicable state and Qatar Laws.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: QAR1,800.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
