Event Chat Manager/Event Tech


 Crawford Group is seeking an Event Chat Manager/Event Tech, for a client of ours. This Event Chat Manager should be someone who will be able to take on chat management from configuration and testing all the way through implementation during the event. The day-to-day management would be owned by this person, with support. This person would potentially need to be available for an event in 2024.

Responsibilities:
An immense attention to detail
Comfort with technology and working at a fast pace
The following are nice to haves, though not as important as the above
Rainfocus technical experience, beyond session details input
Pigeonhole chat management experience
3 months out (July) – Training
5 hours/week
This month could eventually be cut out once the person is brought up to speed (after the first couple events)
2 months out (August)
10 hours/week
Comms with Content team – join Track Manager meeting to brief TMs on their chat pod R&R’s
Update Rainfocus report if needed
Prep work for calendar invites and staffing needs based on session count/details
Configure test sessions in Pigeonhole and confirm connection to Rainfocus is working correctly
1 month out (September)
10-15 hours/week
Build staffing schedule and confirm resources with Event ops lead
Schedule and prepare for Traffic Manager training meeting
Set up slack channel
Configure all sessions in Pigeonhole, QA and adjust sessions as needed
Month of event (October)
15 - 20 hours/week (very rough estimate, could be less)
Share staffing grid with Chat Traffic Managers
Calendar invites for chat sent out
Chat pod training meeting
Chat pod traffic manager Training
QA continued; QA check before UAT testing, and UAT testing
Available during all instance of chat pod during the event (including regional sessions outside of North America)

Location: Remote, U.S.
Duration: Consulting
Rate: $60-$70/hourly, W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available. (Our pay ranges are determined based on skills, experience, and location)
