Psychiatrist - (Psych) Locum Tenens

A psychiatrist (locum ten! ens) is a mental health professional, who focuses on preventing, diagnosing, and treating mental illness. After completing medical school, a psychiatrist must also complete a one year internship and three additional years of specialized training as a psychiatric resident. In the treatment of mental illness, a psychiatrist is licensed to prescribe medication. Some conditions requiring medication include; depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. A psychiatrist evaluates patients with mental illness and, in cases where medication is subscribed, often practices medication management.

Nellis Air Force Base is located just a few miles away from Las Vegas. The base has a rich and distinguished history, being home to the 57th wing of the Air Force Warfare Center. Nellis is responsible for training some of the US AIr Force's most decorated units.
