We’re looking for several Senior Designers specialising in user experience to join our rapidly growing team at the EY Athens Design Lab to help us push the boundaries of design and innovation of services and products.
The opportunity
Our team of Business and Experience Designers are based in the Athens office of EY Greece and are part of our Consulting practice. Together we work on large and complex challenges, using robust frameworks, methods and tools to deliver transformative experiences for our clients, across many sectors (financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, government, and more) in Greece and abroad. EY Athens Design Lab is part of EY Design and Engineering, a global network of design studios.
Your key responsibilities
As part of the Athens Design Lab team, you will work alongside business designers, UX/UI designers, strategists, product managers and engineering teams to design innovative user-centred services and products. As a Senior Designer you will be comfortable leading key areas of the UX/UI process to create and shape delightful and engaging user-centered experiences for web and mobile.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
- At least 5 years of UX/UI design experience working in consulting, agency or inhouse design team
- A passion for design and impressive portfolio demonstrating your creativity in digital experiences
- Knowledge and practical experience of the end-to-end design process (research, concept creation, customer-journeys, user flows, mockups, prototypes, user-testing, visual design deliverables)
- Ability to think creatively and deliver actionable insights based on qualitative and quantitative research
- Superb technical skills in visual design and prototyping software (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc)
- Understanding of the latest technologies and trends in UX/UI designs
- Awareness and understanding of accessibility standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Fluency in English (other languages a plus)
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Worked in an agile design delivery process
- Knowledge of Material Design and Human Interface Guidelines
- Developed, contributed to, or maintained a Design System
- Excellent project management skills with great attention to detail
- Can organise and facilitate workshops
- Experience in financial services is a plus
