We currently have an opening for a Claims Mailroom Clerk onsite in Northridge.

The hours for this role is Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm

Position Summary:

Provides clerical support and acts as the technical resource on tasks and processes related to the work performed in the department to other staff members and to other departments within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Processes incoming mail by opening, sorting and delivering to all areas of the company.
  • Responsible for maintaining mailroom functions such as prepping mail for distribution and pick-up as regulated by US Post Office.
  • Preps and scans all hardcopy claims with any attachments for historical purposes.
  • Retrieves hardcopy claims as directed by management for purposes of claims processing or audits.
  • Maintains mailroom supplies in accordance with departmental instructions.
  • All other duties as directed by management.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between$18 - $20 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school graduate or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years general office experience
  • Word processing skills
  • Competent oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated proficiency
  • Good organizational skills
