One Year Temporary, Instructor/Lecturer, Micro-Surgery Hand Fellow - Pool (Las Vegas)
This is a one year fellowship position in the Department of Surgery, Plastics Division. The Microsurgery Hand Fellow will assist faculty in operations, research and will be involved in the teaching of plastic surgery to residents, general surgery residents and medical students. The incumbent will have extensive exposure to aesthetic plastic surgery and will be responsible as a Junior Faculty member providing patient care, teaching medical students and residents, with excellent opportunity for basic or clinic research. It is the mission of the Department of Surgery to continue a path of excellence in clinical practice, education, and research. With over 60 full-time and clinical faculty spanning 10 divisions, our surgeons provide a variety of clinical services to the Las Vegas community which in turn generates a wealth of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications M.D. degree with successful completion of an ACGME accredited program in plastic surgery prior to employment commencing. Must be board eligible in Plastic Surgery. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, malpractice insurance and must be able to be successfully credentialed by Southern Nevada teaching hospitals and/or clinics.
