Dentist - (Dentistry) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 10/28/2013Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
General dentist needed for cor! rectional facility in Western, NV for 20-30 hours per week. It will be a minimum of a 1 month assignment with the option to extend. Dentist will need to be comfortable doing oral surgery, extractions, x-rays, and fillings.
General dentists (locum tenens) diagnose, prevent and treat problems associated the mouth, such as plaque decay, cavities, and the repair of fractured teeth. They are usually the first point of contact for patients with oral health concerns, referring them to specialists such as endodontists when needed. Dentists are trained to use a wide variety of medical equipment, such as x-ray machines and drills, and are able to diagnose and treat a plethora of oral conditions.
