The Trauma Division is focused on addressing unmet clinical needs and continues to work on aligning Minimally Invasive Solutions technologies with Trauma products, as well as integrating Orthobiologics and other next generation technologies into the portfolio of Zimmer trauma solutions. The Zimmer Trauma Division is located in Warsaw, Indiana. Zimmer is looking for a Sales Associate for the Las Vegas, NV territory. This position is responsible for achieving targeted sales goals for this territory. This is done through constant communication and daily in-person appointments with customers and potential customers regarding Zimmer Trauma products. Provide assistance through surgical case coverage, movement of surgical devices between hospitals ie; trauma instrument, implants etc. Assist with local and regional sales training of operating room staff and surgeons through in servicing of trauma instruments and implants. Provide surgical case coverage with in an assigned territory. Make sure proper instruments and implants are available and ready for hospital staff prior to assigned case of responsibility. Interface with surgeons and hospital staff to provide training and in servicing of trauma devices. Builds strong relationships with key surgeons in his or her given area. Works with Area Manager to build and implement a territory sales plan for his/her territory. Achieves sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis. Plans, coordinates and executes local educational and sales events that will augment the business and help to deliver budgeted sales goals. Communicates with Marketing/Communications and other internal functions to ensure voice of customer is heard by internal departments. Reports on competitor and customer activities in the field. Strictly adheres to all policies and SOPs regarding the interaction with HCP (Health Care Professionals), product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities and training.
- Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must demonstrate the ability to interact with people at various functional levels up to and include Surgeons
- Must be willing to work within the operating room theater
- Candidates must be clinically proficient in trauma anatomy and with the Zimmer Trauma product portfolio
